Privacy policy
This is a plain account of what we hold about you, why we hold it, who
else can see it, and how to have it removed. If anything here is unclear,
ask us — the address is at the bottom.
Rex-Giddoty Hubs is a shop trading in Nigeria at
rexgiddotyhubs.shop. We are the
ones who decide what is collected here, and we are who to complain to.
What we collect
Only what an order or a conversation actually needs.
When you create an account
- Your name, email address and phone number
- A password, which is stored only as a one-way hash — nobody at this
shop can read it, including us
When you place an order
- The delivery address and phone number you give us, and any note you add
- What you ordered, the size and colour, what it cost, and when
- The status of the order as it moves from payment to delivery
We do not take card numbers, bank passwords or one-time codes on
this site. Payment is by transfer, made in your own banking app, and the
only thing that reaches us is whatever you choose to send as proof.
When you use support chat
- What you write, and any photo, video or document you attach
- Those files are stored privately and can only be opened by you and by
our staff — never by another customer, and never by a public link
When you leave a review
- Your rating and what you wrote, shown publicly with your first name
only — never your full name, email or phone
On the device itself
- Your cart, kept in your browser's own storage so it survives a refresh
- Whether you prefer centimetres or inches on size guides
- A sign-in token, so you are not asked to sign in on every page
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell anything about you
to anybody. There is no analytics profile of you here.
Who else sees it
Three companies, each doing one job.
- Supabase — stores the database and the files. Your account,
orders and chat live here.
- Vercel — serves the website to your browser.
- Resend — sends the emails: order confirmations, delivery
updates, password resets.
These are processors: they hold the data so the shop can work, and they
do not get to use it for their own purposes. Their servers may be outside
Nigeria, which is normal for services of this kind.
We also give the delivery rider your name, address and phone number,
because otherwise the parcel cannot reach you.
How long we keep it
- Orders — kept as business records even if you close your
account, because a shop has to be able to account for what it sold.
They keep the address the parcel went to, not your live account.
- Your account, saved addresses and cart — deleted when you ask.
- Support chat and its files — deleted with your account.
- Reviews — you can delete your own at any time, from the item.
Your choices
- See what we hold — most of it is in
your account already: your details, your
addresses, every order.
- Correct it — change your details there yourself.
- Delete it — email us and we will remove your account, its
addresses, its cart and its chat. We will tell you when it is done.
- Stop the emails — order emails stop when the account goes. We
do not send marketing email unless you subscribed to it.
You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if you
think we have handled your information badly.
Children
This shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything about
a child under 13. If you believe a child has created an account here,
tell us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes
with it and we say so on the site. The current version is always the one
on this page.
